Biggenden Engineering Works has been established for 15 years under its current management. The current company manager has 30 years industry experience to offer his clients. The company is situated in Biggenden in the industrial zone on the edge of town directly up the road from the cattle sales yards.
Biggenden is centrally located within Queensland and is approximately one hour from the major centre’s of Maryborough, Gympie and Bundaberg. The town is well serviced with transport links south to Brisbane and north to Rockhampton and west.
The company manufactures a number of Products and Services under their new Trademark BigEng. Part of the BigEng product range includes the capacity to offer services for the refurbishment, repair and modifications to equipment for the industries that the company services as well as being able to offer reverse engineering of components for their customers to provide cost effective alternative solutions.
Part of the challenge in manufacturing is being able to maintain that competitive advantage. Biggenden Engineering Works is able to do this by continually expanding its product range and reinventing themselves through new ideas and solutions enabling them to not only strengthen their market position but also enable them to be more competitive in an increasingly global market place.
Biggenden Engineering Works provides services to the transport, earthmoving, mining, agricultural, Construction and general Industry throughout Queensland and beyond. The business extends it expertise to all Industries by way of manufacture of specialty equipment; repair and refurbishment; and general break-down and maintenance repairs.
The company’s versatility enables them to cater not only a standard range of products and services but can easily service the individual requirements of their clients.
We are Engineering Specialists proudly serving the Wide Bay, Fraser Coast and Burnett Regions as well as greater Queensland and offer a range of specialist services.

• Machine Shop - Our company has a fully equipped Machine Shop to provide solutions for you. Our capacities include:- Lathe with 690mm swing capacity. Milling Machines with dividing head. Turning. Fitting Services. We also have the capacity to out-source larger jobs that we are unable to handle in-house. Just ask us and we can assist with a solution to your concerns.
• Steel Fabrication – Our company has a fully equipped Fabrication Shop to provide solutions for you. Our capabilities include:- Steel Fabrication . Sheet Metal Work. Boiler Making. Structural Steel Welding. General Welding & Fabrication. We can provide services both in-house or on-site.. General and structural as well as repairs and refurbishment.
• Materials Processing Solutions including Cutting, Folding, Bending, Rolling, Guillotining, Profile Cutting, Cropping, Punching, Tapping, Drilling and Bulk processing. We can process to your drawings and specifications. We can also provide a written quote at your request.
• Hydraulics Services Solutions. Our company provides a number of solutions for Hydraulic Systems including Hoses & fittings. Hydraulic cylinder refurbishment. Hydraulic cylinder re-seals. Hydraulic components & installations. Design & installation of hydraulic systems.
• Repairs & Modifications for Mining, Earthmoving, Agriculture, Horticulture, Quarry, Infra-Structure, Transport, Building & Construction Industries. • Mobile Welding Plant & Breakdown Service. We provide a mobile and break-down service 24/7 for call outs onsite. Our mobile plant has a capacity up to 450 amps with Arc Air Gouge.
• Reverse Engineering Solutions for the Mining, earthmoving, quarrying, agriculture and transport industries. Our aim is to provide you with the highest quality product whilst offering the most cost effective solution.
• Heavy Vehicle Blue Plating Accreditation. Our company has staff who are accredited to perform Heavy Vehicle Blue Plating. We not only perform Blue Plate Inspections, But can do your modification work in-house under our stringent control of our quality systems with all work performed by qualified tradesman.

• Horticultural Harvesting Solutions. We manufacture a wide range of products to suit the Agricultural and Horticultural Industries offering a variety of solutions for a diverse range of situations.
